چکیده
In this article, we present Web-based Engineering Numerical Software (WENS) developed using MATLAB and its Web Server Toolbox (WST) in order to provide basic solution tools in linear algebra, including eigenvalue problems, which are extensively used in engineering applications and education. 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Lighthouse: A User-Centered Web Service for Linear Algebra Software
Various fields of science and engineering rely on linear algebra for large scale data analysis, modeling and simulation, machine learning, and other applied problems. Linear algebra computations often dominate the execution time of such applications. Meanwhile, experts in these domains typically lack the training or time required to develop efficient, high-performance implementations of linear ...

We won’t cover: • linear algebra, i.e., the underlying mathematics of matrices • numerical linear algebra, i.e., the algorithms used to manipulate matrices and solve linear equations • software for forming and manipulating matrices, e.g., Matlab, Mathematica, or Octave • how to represent and manipulate matrices, or solve linear equations, in computer languages such as C/C++ or Java • applicatio...
متن کاملImproving the Eeciency and Accuracy of the Matlab Control Toolbox Using Slicot-based Gateways
The paper presents performance results for some components of the new, public-domain version of the SLICOT library (Subroutine Library in Control Theory), in comparison with equivalent computations performed by some Matlab functions included in the Control Toolbox. SLICOT incorporates the new algorithmic developments in numerical linear algebra, implemented in the state-of-the-art software pack...

متن کاملModified FGP approach and MATLAB program for solving multi-level linear fractional programming problems
In this paper, we present modified fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach and generalized MATLAB program for solving multi-level linear fractional programming problems (ML-LFPPs) based on with some major modifications in earlier FGP algorithms. In proposed modified FGP approach, solution preferences by the decision makers at each level are not considered and fuzzy goal for the decision vectors i...
